Diary writing

The first thing I do after I get up is brush my teeth and wash my face.Sometimes I have a shower too.After finish this things,I have breakfast like cookies and milk.Then I turn on the computer.Anyway I think computer is the most important thing for me.I can't imagine what would happen in my life whitout computer. I usually visit a website first.Then I go on the MSN and QQ to talk with my friend until lunch time.

The "Untrained" King

The train pushed on toward Istanbul when it crossed the countryside in France.
The King of France lay in his bed,unable to sleep for he had eaten too much.
What he had eaten were cakes filled with cream.
He got up to go to the bathroom but he opened the wrong door by mistake.
Half asleep, not sure of where he was,he fell off the train.
He walked to the nearest station,wearing pajamas and only one slipper.
When he arrived at the station,he told the attendat to call his wife who was the Queen of France.
The attendant laughed loudly and called the psychiatric hospital to see if any patients had escaped.
The King got angry and felt he was losing face.He asked the attendant to lend him a mobile phone and he called his wife impatiently.After a few minutes,his wife came with the troops and took him away immediately.
The attendant thought it was ridiculous and suprised him a lot.

The Australian Museum

Yesterday I went to the Australian Museum with my AMEP-B class.

We met at the Kogarah station at 9 o'clock and then took a 9:20 train to Town Hall station to meet another classmate Chuchie and go to the museum together.When we got to the Town Hall, we went through the City.After 20 minutes of walking, we got to the Australian Museum.

When outside the museum, the teacher gave us worksheets about the museum. We went inside and paid the admission. Then we left our bags in the locker room and began our visit.

First we went to the Skeletons exhibition. We saw a human skeleton which riding a bike was similar to us.Then we walked around the Skeletons exhibition and asked many questions about the skeletons.I learnt some useful facts about them.

After that we went upstairs to the Planet of Minerals exhibition.We listened to the woman who introduced the birds and we walked inside a vault which was filled with precious stones.We looked at mineral samples and read about many minerals such as quartz, gold and gems.

Next we saw the Search and Discover exhibition. In this exhibition,there were many fascinating Australian plants and animals.In addition,there were dinosaurs too.I learnt a lot about them and I liked this exhibition the most because I like dinosaurs.

After nearly two hours,we went outside the museum and had a picnic lunch.We went to the park and sat together to share our lunch.At about 2:30,we said goodbye and went back home.

It was a wonderful day and I won't forget it for a long time!

A great day out

I had a good day last month. My father and I went to visit Manly Beach.



On that day, it was cloudy but luckily, it didn't rain. We left home early at 9 am and took a train from Hurstville to the City. Then we went through China Town, Darling Harbour and took a ferry to Manly. It was my first time to take a ferry in Australia.


When the ferry went to Manly, I admired the beautiful view. Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge looked wonderful.


Manly Beach is a beautiful place. We walked around the beach and looked at many people who swam and played there. We also saw some people fishing off the beach. I was so surprised when I saw that. Then we bought a pizza and chips for lunch and ate them on the beach. At 3 o'clock we decided to go home.


It was a great day and I will remember it for a long time.
